The magnificent Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque of Nizwa is a perfect example of Omani architecture

Opened in September 2015, and named after the late His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, the mosque is a hard-to-miss structure as you enter the city of Nizwa.
