Pluses:
Spacious room, large bed, great pool, excellent staff, minibar included, free drinks daily, superb beach with great service, comfortable hospitality room... we could not be happier. Excellent experience, would love to come back again.
The Shangri La experience is like no other in Muscat. From the moment you arrive you are taken care of and the property offers a range of complimentary services like afternoon tea and cocktail hour that exceed all expectations. The property quality and staff friendliness and helpfulness make it well worth the cost.
This property is great for relaxing in Oman. There are many small areas to relax, and even though the property was full it never felt busy. The staff around the property take a real interest in the guests and their service level is great. This is one of the best Shangri La Resorts out there!
Minuses:
Enormous amount of plastic bottles used daily by everyone... More environment friendly approach would be appreciated.
It would have been nice to have a longer service time for Afternoon Tea, as the 1 hour at the moment is quite restrictive.
